Publications Developers
Wiki/Fourm Manager


Publications Developers for the Following Systems: Shadowrun, 13th Age RPG System, Basic Fantasy Roleplaying System, Independent Systems

General Position Summary

As a Publications Developer, you will be working to create and design adventures, supplements and settings that players all over will love and enjoy!

Functions/Major Responsibilities

  •  Will have authority to contract writers/project per approval of Publisher
  •  Work with authors and editors to develop projects
  •  Will be required to maintain communication with entire team concerning deadlines and projects
  •   Will be required to do some light editing on all completed projects to make sure they are compliant to the associated system’s licensing and mechanics.

Skills & Experience

  •     Fastidious attention to detail
  •      Ability to write in clear, concise English
  •      Expert Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Adobe InDesign, Evernote, and Box Systems
  •      Familiarity with image manipulation software such as Photoshop and related file formats and standards
  •      Familiarity with HTML, PDF, XML, ePub and other digital media file formats
  •      Familiarity with the gaming industry and systems involved.
  •      Able to work both without supervision and as part of a tightly integrated team
  •      College degree or the equivalent in professional experience (Current Students will be allowed to use this job as work experience, but please let us know upon hiring if they wish to use it for college credit.)

Job Conditions

  •  Virtual Position: But will require extensive online meetings so reliable technology is required.
  •  Job might require hours that exceed 8 hours per day and/or 40 hours per week but is flexible based on need and ongoing projects
  •  Job will require rapid adaptation to workloads and the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously
  •  Will be required to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement while working on projects.

Job Benefits

  •  Share of Royalties on all projects completed and published on a monthly contractual basis (1099’s will be issued in compliance with State and Federal Laws)
  •  Option to publish your own works through our Company, with no developer royalties.
  •  Copies of all products produced by Roleplayers Society Publishing

Wiki/Fourm Manager

 General Position Summary
As Wiki/Fourm Manager, you will be required to design, update and maintain our Kronea Wiki and RPS Fourms. You will be in charge of developing the digital social presence of our company and community!

Functions/Major Responsibilities

  •     Plans site design by clarifying goals; designing functionality.
  •     Develops site navigation by categorizing content; funneling traffic through content.
  •     Establishes locatability by registering with search engines.
  •     Will be interactive with our Social Networking Sites on Facebook and Twitter
  •     Upgrades site by updating content and graphics; monitoring performance and results; identifying and evaluating improvement options; introducing new technology; and maintaining links.

Skills & Experience

  •      Strong attention to detail and organizational skills required
  •      Excellent written and verbal communication skills required
  •      The ability to maintain a playful and enthusiastic attitude in dealing with customers, even in high stress or otherwise difficult situations
  •      Ability to write in clear, concise English
  •      Expert Experience with Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office, Evernote, WordPress, Facebook, and Twitter
  •      Familiarity with image manipulation software such as Photoshop and related file formats and standards
  •      Familiarity with HTML, PDF, XML, ePub and other digital media file formats
